An “academic specialist,” Susanne’s experience managing the moves of transferring college and university personnel is unparalleled. In her early years in relocation, Susanne managed the high volume, demanding Harvard University account for six years. The Boston area being a complicated and high-cost area, she learned quickly the importance of early, thorough counseling and establishing a budget. Since joining The Talbot Group in 2003, she has managed relocations for over 15 academic institutions nationwide. Additionally, Susanne, as a relocation director is assisting The Talbot Group’s Global Corporate Clients with their employees domestic and international relocation needs, including settling in services.
Susanne has relocated many times herself. A native of Sweden, she came to the US to pursue a corporate career, which took her to New York, New Jersey, Illinois and Massachusetts. After marrying an attorney and settling in the Boston area, Susanne launched her career in real estate, first as an agent in 1990 and subsequently as a manager. She transitioned into relocation after the birth of her twins in 1995. Susanne keeps busy with her son and daughter, especially skiing in Vermont, and travels annually back to her native Sweden.
