Jean has an impressive real estate and relocation background, going back to 1973. As a licensed agent, Jean worked as a rental agent, managed rental communities, and marketed new rental buildings. She went on to work as a real estate agent, eventually specializing in condo marketing and condominium community management. In 1988 Jean leveraged her knowledge and skills by opening Hartford’s premier rental agency, called Corporate Rental Relocation, specializing in renters coming in to the greater Hartford area. She joined The Talbot Group in 2003 as a Personal Relocation Counselor, working with buyers, sellers and renters coming in from around the world. One of Jean’s specialties is assisting incoming foreign nationals, as she truly enjoys supporting them during the settling-in process – arranging for banking, driver’s licenses, ESL classes, school enrollments, and other details that can be overwhelming to the newcomer.

As the firm’s Rental Director, Jean is a master at “all things rental,” understanding the process, leases, trends, and regional pricing. Jean can
tackle rental issues of any kind, anywhere, and locate rental resources throughout the nation. She holds a Broker’s Real Estate License in the
state of Connecticut.

Jean is also an avid traveler, especially to Scotland, home of many ancestors. Married for many years to her husband Floyd, they spend many spare weekends fixing up their beloved antique home in one of Connecticut’s picturesque and historic towns. Jean’s gardens are worthy of publication. Jean is the soul of our operations.
